Is virtual communication here to stay?

Before the pandemic, many staffing professionals believed nothing could take the place of a face-to-face meeting. In-person communication is something we as humans have spent years perfecting. But as the world began to shut its doors and lock down, talking to people head-on was not possible and we learned to embrace Google Meet, Zoom and more. These platforms, while difficult at first, retain humanity in communication with body language and tone plus they have opened up contact to people all over the world. There’s no doubt that face-to-face is the gold standard of communication, but virtual interactions are here to stay in some form.
